This wonderful guided tour offers all the must-see sights in a single day of cultural discovery in Nouméa.
Travel aboard our air-conditioned buses to your first stop, the Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre, passing by Nouméa’s scenic beaches. You’ll admire the remarkable architecture of this multicultural complex dedicated to Kanak art. This stop includes entry fees and a guided tour of around 45 minutes, with a toilet break.
The second stop takes you to the commune of Mont-Dore, to the Catholic mission church of La Conception. As the birthplace of Christianity in New Caledonia, this “Church of Miracles” features a statue of Our Lady atop its bell tower, beautiful stained-glass windows, and lush tropical surroundings (including lychee and mango trees depending on the season).
Your journey then continues to Ouen Toro, offering a 380° panoramic view over the New Caledonian lagoon (Mont-Dore, Anse Vata, Baie des Citrons, Promenade Pierre Vernier…) and the majestic mountain ranges. Toilets are also available at this site.
The return to Nouméa includes views of the marinas, beaches and colonial houses.
Note: In case the Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre is closed (due to public holidays or cultural events), this stop will be replaced by the natural spring located in the commune of Mont-Dore.
Departure from the ferry terminal.
