From Nouméa, follow expressway n°2, then RT1, driving north. In just 2 hours, you’ll arrive in the town of Bourail. From there, venture across the expansive desert to reach Koné in 3 hours and 30 minutes or Poum, located at the northern tip of Grande Terre, in 5 hours and 15 minutes. You can also fly to Koné and rent a car upon arrival. Guided tours are available from Nouméa or Bourail. Alternatively, shuttles can transport you directly to Bourail from Nouméa – La Tontouta International Airport.
