Embark on a 4-day guided sea-kayaking expedition along the "Côte Oubliée" (Forgotten Coast), exploring wild beaches, rugged cliffs and the pristine nature of New Caledonia’s east coast.
Located on the east coast of New Caledonia, the Forgotten Coast stretches for nearly 65 kilometres of spectacular coastal scenery — from towering cliffs and hidden coves to lush tropical forests.
Accompanied by a qualified local guide, set off on a 4-day sea kayaking expedition to explore this remote and unspoiled region. In a single or double kayak, you’ll paddle through little-known areas accessible only by sea, and camp each night on deserted beaches.
Throughout the journey, your guide will share insights about the coastline, its unique wildlife and vegetation, while ensuring your safety and respect for the natural environment.
The expedition includes guiding and all kayaking equipment (kayak, paddles, life jackets).
Camping gear and meals are not included — bring your own tent, sleeping bag and provisions for a true wilderness immersion in the best possible conditions.
The Forgotten Coast offers an unforgettable adventure, blending exploration, connection and discovery — a rare experience in the heart of wild New Caledonia.
Good physical condition is recommended, as the expedition may require sustained effort, especially if the wind picks up or conditions become more challenging.
Departure / return point: at the Place Moselle car park, opposite chalet no. 2.
Equipment provided: 50 L waterproof barrels, spare paddles, repair kit, Iridium beacon.
Bring your own camping gear and meals for the duration of the expedition.
Online booking available on the Aventure Pulsion website.
