Cape Wabao dominates the southwest of the island with its coral terraces bristling with columnar pines, overlooking small rocky coves with transparent waters that are rich in a wide variety of fish, ideal for snorkelling.
Cape Wabao, a mythical place whose shape evokes the head of a sea snake, is accessible from the beaches of Shini in the south or Hpédé in the north. The trail crosses woods of large columnar pines and runs along small coral coves with beautiful seabeds to a small coral beach. it is advisable to be accompanied by a guide, as it is easy to get lost.
