An international pro golf tournament recognised by the PGA of Australia, bringing together top talent from across Oceania, plus a friendly pro-am where amateurs team up alongside the pros.
Revived after several years away, the Evian New Caledonia Open puts New Caledonia back on the map of the Pacific’s professional golf circuit. This edition is part of a three-year development plan, with the aim of establishing the event as a must-do annual fixture.
Held at Garden Golf de Dumbéa, the tournament is recognised by the PGA of Australia as part of the Pro-Am Series. It welcomes a field of around 30 to 40 professional golfers, mainly from Australia and New Zealand, for several days of competition.
Alongside the main event, a team pro-am played in an ambrose format gives amateur players the chance to share the course and the experience with a touring professional, in an atmosphere that’s both competitive and relaxed.
Beyond the fairways, the event features key moments and activities to enhance the experience for players and spectators alike, including a partner village and opening and closing ceremonies.
