This traditional Kanak hut belonging to the Oua-Tom tribe of La Foa can be visited with permission from the council of elders.
Although it fell into disrepair since being built in 1983, the Oua-Tom hut has now been renovated and was opened on 29 March 2019. Now, young people from La Foa meet here as part of an employment workshop, which has given the place a new lease of life in the space of 15 weeks.
