From the village of Voh, head up Mont Katepaï (also sometimes called “Katepaik”) for an easy nature escape with sweeping views over the famous Heart of Voh and the wide-open landscapes of the West Coast.
Rising above the village of Voh, Mont Katepaï offers a classic “bush” outing with rewarding panoramic views. As you gain altitude, the scenery gradually opens out over the West Coast, the mangroves and the lagoon. From the lookout, the highlight is spotting the Heart of Voh — the iconic heart-shaped pattern traced by the mangroves and made famous around the world.
On site, an orientation table helps you read the landscape, and there are spots to pause and take it all in. Bring plenty of water, a hat and closed shoes, especially in hot weather.
