A paid shuttle service has been in place since Saturday, December 6, 2025, to take visitors to Dumbéa Provincial Park and Trou des Nurses.
With the summer holidays approaching, a period during which the Dumbéa Provincial Park and river can attract several thousand visitors every weekend, the municipality is renewing the shuttle bus system designed to regulate access to the sites and supervise their use.
Dumbéa City is therefore informing users that the shuttles to the provincial park and Trou des Nurses will be operational again from Saturday, December 6, 2025.
New this year, the shuttles will cost 150 F per person per trip, or 300 F for a round trip (free for children under 3 years old). .
Practical information
Shuttles will depart from the Fayard Park parking lot from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., every 30 minutes, according to the following schedule:
only on weekends, from December 6 to 21, 2025;
then every day of the week from December 22, 2025, to February 15, 2026 (including public holidays);
and finally, only on weekends from February 21 to March 29, 2026.
Coolers and bicycles are allowed on board the shuttles. Dogs are not allowed, even on a leash.
No dogs allowed, even on a leash.
