Randonnée équestre 1 journée au parc des Grandes-Fougères - La Foa Randonnées

The Grandes Fougères park is a major tourist attraction for the La Foa region and New Caledonia. Horse riding is the ideal way to explore the park! It’s also a great way to get around this hilly terrain which is tiring for walkers. A whole day of riding is an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of the park’s rainforests, dry forests, and New Caledonian bush. It’s ideal for escaping your daily routine!

Details:
Meet at 8:30 am at La Foa Randonnées equestrian centre, 5 km before La Foa from Noumea on the left (big sign).
Once the horses are ready and safety helmets are distributed, it’s a 30-minute drive to the Grandes Fougères park in Farino.
When you arrive, your guide gives all the instructions and safety guidelines for a pleasant ride.
The ride lasts 4 hours and includes the many different points of view in the park. The trail is shaded which makes it a pleasant activity even in hot weather.

Book at least 24 hours in advance. All equipment complies with safety standards. Horse transport included. For all trail rides, you need a hat, sunscreen, pants and closed shoes.
