In an American half-moon from the time of the Pacific War, life in New Caledonia during the Second World War is presented: rallying to Free France, departure of Caledonian and Kanak volunteers for the front, expulsion of the Japanese from the colony in the aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbour, installation of the rear base of the Australian, American and New Zealand forces in the Caledonian archipelago, but also the metamorphosis of the society.
