Visit the Arti’Fées community exhibition and sales space and buy handicrafts made by rural women in New Caledonia!
Born from the union of APAAC and the Association d'Artisanat Traditionnel des Femmes Kanak, the Arti'Fées solidarity exhibition-sale showcases the traditional skills of local artisans.. It's also somewhere the public can come to ask questions and find out information. It's located on the large dock at the southern end of Quai Ferry. You can buy authentic New Caledonian products like seed jewellery, shells, local stones, basketwork, “popinée” and “mission” dresses, hand-painted fabric pouches and sarongs, tapa cloth, and wooden and soapstone sculptures.
