Enjoy an authentic, enriching experience by staying with a family on the Isle of Pines!
Raphaëla and William welcome guests into their friendly home in the heart of the village of Vao. They have two guest rooms which sleep up to 7 people. The bathroom is shared and linen is provided. Although there is no “table d'hôte” dining, you can access the kitchen and terrace to prepare your own meals. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop at Vao Market, which is held every Wednesday and Saturday morning. There is also a useful food shop just 50 metres from the house with fresh bread from Monday to Saturday.
Your hosts know everything there is to know about tourism on the island and can advise you on what to see and do for a memorable stay. If you like to do your own thing, opt for the overnight stay + vehicle hire (minibus) package! Raphaëla and William can also arrange transfers to various sites of interest on the Isle of Pines when the minibus is available.
Check-in/check-out:
- Check-in from 11 am (possibly earlier if not occupied the night before).
- Check-out by 10 am (or later if not booked that night)
You can also leave your bags and take a shower during the day.
What to bring for your stay:
towels and toilet rolls (can be bought from the Vao food shop 50 metres away).
No daily housekeeping, only when the the room is vacated at check-out.
