Initiation au pilotage d'ULM - Skydream

Skydream offers two optional aircraft: an M16 gyrocopter or a microlight VL3. The M16, like a small helicopter, is incredibly stable even in strong winds, giving unrivalled visual comfort. Your field of view is completely clear with no interference from either the wings or the cockpit. The VL3, on the other hand, offers technology, comfort and luxury.

Learning to drive an aircraft at Skydream flight school consists of three essential steps:
- first flight: student pilots take the controls alone for the first time before receiving their licence.
- the licence: after a few solo flights and lessons to perfect the technique, students pass their licence to become completely autonomous.
- carrying passengers: as the name suggests, pilots will be able to fly with passengers on board. Higher proficiency is required in driving, navigation and radio control.

Student pilots must first pass a 40-question MCQ theory test with the local aviation authority: Direction de l'Aviation Civile. Holders of pilot licences for private planes, aircraft, helicopters and gliders can obtain their licence and microlight licence via equivalence for the theory and a flight test with an authorised microlight instructor.

The DumbéAnanda centre is closed from 1 to 9 January 2021 to anyone not participating in the 9-day silent meditation retreat. During this period, the centre is entirely reserved to people participating in the meditation retreat.

Visitors are welcome from January 10 when rooms will once again be available to tourists.
