Stay with the Port-Bouquet tribe in Thio, at a peaceful beachside haven on the doorstep of the Forgotten Coast!
Run by Julien and Maeva, the Port-Bouquet tribe's campsite is the perfect place to relax among nature. Set between land and sea, the campsite is very close to Tupeti Island. You can even pitch your tent on the island itself. Your hosts will offer you a warm welcome and, on request, will cook you some amazing dishes using local produce. Always willing to help, they will direct you to points of interest in Thio and the surrounding area, including the walks you can do around their house. The family accommodation sleeps 10 people in a dormitory and the tent pitches are well shaded and right next to the beach. Showers, toilets, barbecue “farés” and washing-up bowls are available for guests’ use.
