Originally from Maré, he was a student of Joel Robuchon and sous-chef at Yannick Alléno's 3 Michelin-starred restaurant in Dubai. In October 2020, he opened his first restaurant, Celeneraw —which means “from the sea to the land” in the Nengone language— in Place des Cocotiers in Nouméa city centre. Now called Pacific Good Food, the restaurant has moved to Ducos, not far from the town centre.
